Research Interests: Avian tumor viruses, Immunosuppressive and respiratory diseases of poultry

Teaching: Avian Histopathology, Pet Bird Diseases, Avian Tissue responses

Dr. Williams is in charge of the histopathology services for the Poultry diagnostic lab at PDRC and also reads slides for the Georgia Poultry Laboratory Network. She collaborates with other colleagues at PDRC and UGA by providing histopathology support for grants and projects for the poultry industry. In her spare time she is a Troop Committee member for BSA Troop 1 of Athens and is a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church West in Athens.
