37th Annual SouthEastern Veterinary Pathology Conference

The Southeastern Veterinary Pathology Conference will be held Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17, 2009 at the UGA Tifton Campus Conference Center in Tifton, GA. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Chris Gardiner from Fort Sam Houston, Texas. His presentation will be a 3 hour seminar titled “Identification of parasites in tissue sections”, so please submit your best parasite related cases for the meeting. His presentation will be sponsored this year by Pfizer Drug Safety, Research and Development. Due to the length of Dr. Gardiner’s presentation the conference will begin at 10:00AM on May 16, 2009.

Case presenters and attendees are strongly encouraged to pre-register to ensure sufficient meals will be available. Registration forms will be available by mail, fax, or electronically from our website http://www.vet.uga.edu/vpp/tifton/contact/register.php.

This year we have again been able to obtain a special rate from the Tifton Holiday Inn for SEVPAC attendees. This rate of $60.00 per night with a full breakfast is available to you only if your reservations have been made at the Tifton Holiday Inn by May 1, 2009. You must call the Tifton Holiday Inn at 229-382-6687 and ask for the SEVPAC meeting special rate.
