36th Annual SouthEastern Veterinary Pathology Conference
History
SEVPAC was started by Drs Frank Mitchell and Herman Seibold in 1973. The first meeting was a small gathering of veterinary pathologists that included Dr. George “Buck” Rowland and Dr. Carrol Woodard. That first year only 7 people attended.
The first few meetings were held in conjunction with CL Davis Foundation meetings, and as case numbers grew, CL Davis was moved to Atlanta. Since then, the Tifton meeting (as it is affectionately called) has grown and is attended by pathologists and pathology trainees from veterinary colleges all along the eastern seaboard and as far away as Ohio, Oklahoma, Iowa, and Arizona.
Hosts
The meeting is hosted by the staff and faculty at the University of Georgia Veterinary Diagnostic & Investigational Laboratory, Tifton, Georgia
