« International Program
The mission of the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine International Program is to help students, faculty and administration in the College make meaningful contributions to to the understanding of international veterinary medicine and the interrelatedness of animal health globally. Specifically, the goals of the Program are to:
- Develop and facilitate international veterinary learning experiences in the form of externships for professional students
- Highlight and promote the international animal and public health expertise of our CVM faculty
- Offer a Certificate in International Veterinary Medicine for DVM students
- Enhance the overall development of international programs at UGA by interfacing with other units at the university
« The Dog Doctors Youth Outreach Program
The Dog Doctors Youth Outreach Program can introduce your students to the pleasures and responsibilities of dog ownership and expose them to the possibility of a career in Research and Veterinary Medicine.

39th Annual SouthEastern Veterinary Pathology Conference—May 14-15, 2011
The Southeastern Veterinary Pathology Conference will be held Saturday and Sunday, May 14-15, 2011 at the UGA Tifton Campus Conference Center in Tifton, GA. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Gary B. Baskin from Charles River Laboratories. His presentation will be a 2 hour seminar titled "Diseases of Nonhuman Primates", so please submit your best Nonhuman Primate related cases for the meeting. His presentation will be sponsored again this year by Charles River Laboratories. The conference will begin at 9:00AM on May 14, 2011.
NOTICE: We have had such a high number of people indicating they wish to present at SEVPAC in recent years, that we have been starting the meeting earlier and adding an optional Saturday lunch.
