| History: This animal was presented to the University of Georgia Teaching
Hospital with a history of dyspnea, tachypnea, hind limb pain,
and posterior paresis. |
| Gross
findings: Gross necropsy findings included dilated (congestive)
cardiomegaly, pulmonary edema, hepatomegaly, and ascites. A
saddle thrombus was found at the aortic bifurcation. |
