WELCOME

Dear Presenters, Registrants, Colleagues, and Guests,

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Third International Virtual Conference in Veterinary Medicine: Diseases of Reptiles and Amphibians. This conference was inspired by the very successful First and Second International Virtual Conferences on diseases of psittacine birds, exotic animals, and wildlife.

This type of conference circumvents the cost associated with attending a conventional international meeting, making participation feasible for virtually everyone with a computer and internet capabilities. You may view the presentations in this virtual conference at any time of the day or night and you can revisit them as frequently as desired.

We encourage you to register and participate in our discussion board, chat room, and e-mail correspondence with other registrants.

This conference is the result of a team effort dedicated to improve our knowledge of and to promote interest in diseases of reptiles and amphibians. We would like to acknowledge those "behind the scenes" individuals whose contributions made this conference possible: Ray Campagnoli (proof reading, digital image acquisition), Mary Ard (digital image acquisition), Melissa Harrison (digital image acquisition), and Lois Morrison (web design).

We hope that your visit to the Third International Virtual Conference in Veterinary Medicine is an exciting and rewarding experience.
