Thats correct! Avian adenovirus infections mainly produce intranuclear inclusion bodies in the liver, spleen, pancreas, and/or intestines. Other organs also may be affected.
The intranuclear inclusions are usually large and basophilic; however, karyomegaly may be absent and the inclusions may mimic those of avian polyomavirus (APV), Pacheco's disease virus (PDV), and psittacine beak and feather disease (PBFD) virus.
