electron microscopy is supported by a JSM 5800 scanning
electron microscope, which is also equipped for digital
image acquisition along with thermal film.

to both instruments, include:
- ultramicrotomy,
- platinum
shadowing,
- plasma
coating,
- critical
point drying, and
- microultracentrifugation
