The Anatomic Pathology Clerkship Program allows interested senior veterinary students to gain an in depth appreciation and hands-on experience of diagnostic pathology.

Anatomic pathology training includes learning experiences in necropsy techniques, surgical biopsy, algorithm of differential diagnosis, ancillary tests and special stains for definitive diagnosis. Animal dissection skills, organ sampling, tissue trimming and construction of differential diagnoses are emphasized.
