General Research Pathology Services
The faculty members of the Department of Pathology are dedicated to providing collaborative diagnostic and research pathology services to investigators using animals in their research projects. Please see below the various expertise and services provided by each faculty member.
Laboratory Animal Pathology Services
The Comparative Pathology Laboratory provides laboratory animal histopathology, immunohistochemistry, clinical pathology, and photomicrography services. Complete phenotyping services for genetically engineered laboratory species are also available. Normal tissues and histology sets from research animals are available as well for purchase.
Laboratory Animal Diagnostic Services
Diagnostic and disease surveillance services for various laboratory animals are available through the Georgia Laboratory Animal Diagnostic Service (GLADS).
