Participate in a veterinary wildlife expedition in South Africa with EcoLife Expeditions

Who we are:

Ecolife Expeditions is a joint venture with the Centre for Wildlife Management of the University of Pretoria. Guides and instructors will be from the University of Pretoria's Centre for Wildlife Management.

Who can participate:

The program is open to students and professionals in veterinary science or any person with an interest in wildlife biology.

Course outline:
  • Experience the world of veterinarians in southern Africa, hands-on.
  • Meet and interact with veterinarians in the wildlife field.
  • Learn about the crucial role of veterinarians in the growing wildlife industry in southern Africa.
  • Take part in game capture operations, as part of a game capture course included in the program.
Date: 16 days from August 1 to 15, 2003.
