Swine vesicular disease:
Swine vesicular disease is a contagious disease affecting only pigs and occasionally humans. Caused by a member of the genus Enterovirus, family Picornaviridae, the disease occurs sporadically in Asia and Europe. Clinical signs may be identical to FMD. The virus is transmitted principally by direct contact, but also through feces and contaminated meat. Diagnosis is made by viral isolation or serology.
