The purpose of this module is to provide a hypothetical introduction of a foreign animal disease into the United States. Your assignment begins on a Friday evening when you, the veterinarian, are called out to examine some beef cows in Florida that are "not acting right." It is your job to identify the causative agent affecting these animals and, in collaboration with other investigators, to determine how that agent arrived in the state.
