History in this case:

The owner, Mr. Porkpie, first noticed some lame pigs three days ago.  The pigs are kept outdoors and have access to a large yard.   He is worried because some of the pigs aren't getting up to move to the feed trough and so they aren't eating.

In an adjacent barn, he keeps a milking goat, and two pleasure horses.  The pigs don't go into the barn but people pass back and forth readily.

Some questions you should ask:

Any contact with other pigs?

What do the pigs eat?

Any travel outside the U.S.?
