Classical Swine Fever | Economic Impact

The most accurate data available refer to the recent epidemic in the Netherlands (and other EU countries) in which more than 10 million pigs were destroyed, and direct costs only, excluding losses of exports, were estimated at US$ 2 billion. So far the direct and indirect costs of CSF outbreaks in EU are totaling several billion Euros.
