Classical Swine Fever | Microscopic Lesions

Most pronounced lesions are found in capillaries in which swelling and proliferation of endothelial cells are observed.

In larger blood vessels, the media and adventitia may be hyalinized or necrotic. Non-suppurative encephalitis (mononuclear vascular cuffing) is often detected.
