Welcome to Veterinary Pathology!
Veterinary pathology is the study of the nature, causes, and effects of animal disease. The Department of Pathology at The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine is dedicated to the study, diagnosis and control of animal disease through our veterinary student curriculum, residency and graduate training programs, ongoing research, and quality diagnostic services.

NEW Coming Soon in May!
The 40th Annual Southeastern Veterinary Pathology Conference (SEVPAC) will be held Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20, 2012, at the UGA Tifton Campus Conference Center in Tifton, GA. The conference will begin at 9:00AM on May 19, 2012. Our guest speaker this year is Dr. Claus Buergelt, Professor Emeritus from the University of Florida. His two hour presentation is titled "Bovine Pathology: Everything You Should Know."
