RESEARCH INTERESTS

Molecular genetics, DNA structure and function

All of the research in Dr. McGraw's laboratory lies in the general area of molecular genetics. Genetic tools and technologies are applied in diverse projects ranging from the development of diagnostic tests to the mapping of genomes. One current project uses synthetic DNA for the construction of DNA nanostructures; another is concerned with the use of novel DNA-nanoparticle conjugates in development of genetic tests.
