Merck/Merial Summer Research Assistantship. 

This is a Research Fellowship sponsored by the Merck Foundation and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Experiment Station for a Veterinary Student which supports summer training by a Faculty Mentor in a laboratory in the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to guiding the Student through a research project of his/her own choosing, the Mentor serves as a professional and personal role model. Since its inception, our Program has supported 68 Veterinary Students from six different Colleges of Veterinary Medicine in the US and Europe as Georgia Veterinary Scholars.
