Equipment Puts VTH at the Forefront of Animal Care

The new UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital will not only look impressive, but it will also feature top of the line equipment that is on the leading edge of what is currently being used in veterinary medicine.

These improvements can be found throughout the facility and range from food animal hydraulic chute systems to advanced cancer treatment options.

Donor Story

Donors Recognized Throughout New Facility

The new buildings that make up the Veterinary Medical Center received a wealth of financial support for construction. Four separate units of the Large Animal Hospital and three classrooms in the Education Center will be named for these private donors. Other spaces in the hospital, such as exam rooms, stalls, surgery spaces, etc. will also be named in honor of other generous supporters.

New Facility Location

The new facility is located at 2200 College Station Road, Athens, Georgia.
