Presenting Complaint
Bloat or gastric dilatation-volvulus.

Endoscopic Technique
Laparoscopic-assisted correction of gastric rotation and incisional gastropexy.  This gastropexy is the same laparoscopic technique used to produce a strong gastropexy as a preventative procedure in bloat susceptible dogs.

Benefits of using endoscopy
Two small incisions were made.  Patients with clinical bloat must be care screened when considering endoscopic correction instead of traditional abdominal surgery.  This patient was selected as she responded well to fluid resuscitation and a stomach tube could be placed into the stomach.
