Veterinary Research Day

Veterinary Research Day was held for the first time in the spring of 2000. It is now an annual event. The purpose of Research Day is to showcase the research efforts of the graduate students, veterinary students, post-doctoral fellows, and clinical interns and residents at the College of Veterinary Medicine . The main format of the event is poster presentations displayed in the college's lobby. The authors of the posters answer questions for interested faculty, staff, and students in a casual reception atmosphere. A panel of faculty judges awards several cash prizes for the "best" poster presentations. The day culminates with a seminar by an invited speaker and a dinner reception for the student presenters and their mentors.
