Noble
- Patient:
Noble, 8 month old male Cairn terrier.
- Presenting complaint:
Recurrent rectal prolapse with straining.
- Endoscopic technique:
Laparoscopic assisted colopexy to permanently secure the descending colon to the abdominal wall.
- Benefits of using endoscopy:
Three very small incisions were made. In addition the amount of tension on the colon within the closed abdomen could be monitored during surgical attachment and the actual suturing was done with direct observation.
