Dinky

Dinky
  • Patient:
Dinky, 12 year old male Poodle.

  • Presenting complaint:
Persistent and frequently bloody nasal discharge with sneezing.

  • Endoscopic procedure:
    Rhinoscopy.

  • Benefits of using endoscopy:
Rhinoscopy provided an excellent viewing of the tumor and insured appropriate location for biopsies. Although the prognosis is very poor, rhinoscopy avoided the need for a major surgery (rhinotomy) to cut into the nose.
