Course information

Prerequisites: POD

Objectives:
To further the student’s knowledge in veterinary pathology, including specific training and job opportunities in this field of veterinary medicine. Students will become familiar with the role of pathology by rotating between anatomic pathology and clinical pathology during the elective.

Topical outline:
1)Training and job opportunities in veterinary pathology 2)Three to four weeks of biopsy, necropsy and cytology 3)Case presentation
