Objectives:
After completion of this course students should be able to: 1. Recognize lameness and common surgical diseases of horses. 2. Be able to produce a list of differential diagnoses and formulate a diagnostic and therapeutic plan when presented with a horse or foal with a surgical related disease. 3. Understand the principals, techniques, complications, and prognosis associated with common equine surgical procedures.
