Course information
Prerequisites: third year veterinary curriculum
Objectives:
1. To recognize the clinical features associated with diseases affecting
the digestive system of large animals. 2. To understand the pathophysiology,
differential diagnoses, and treatment of diseases affecting the digestive
system of large animals. 3. To understand the importance of management practices
that can positively or negatively affect the performance of large animals
as related to enteric diseases. 4. To understand the basis and utilization
of fluid therapy in large animals.

Esophageal obstruction
Equine dentistry
Bovine forestomach & adomasal conditions
Ruminant diarrhea

Fluid therapy
