Dr. Almy is interested in developing new protocols and test procedures to enable and enhance the ability to not only diagnosis leukemias and lymphomas in companion animals, but to also provide a prognosis and development of unique treatment protocols based upon specific cell phenotype. Current projects include the development of a phenotyping microarray and implementation of PCR analysis as a routine diagnostic test for the determination of clonal malignant lymphoid populations. |
