Research
All research is directed toward improving clinical care of companion animals, and when appropriate their human partners. Improved care requires a better understanding of disease mechanisms, better diagnostic procedures, better treatments, and a critical analysis of whether new diagnostic and treatment procedures truly help diseased pets. This requires studies in the laboratory followed by application in the clinics. All studies involving client owned animals are done following critical peer review and with the informed consent of the animal owner.
