The Department of Large Animal Medicine is the academic unit responsible for teaching and research in diseases of large performance and production animals (horses, cows, sheep, goats, llamas, pigs).
Congratulations Dr. Andrew Parks
(link to story): Dr. Parks, head of the department of large animal medicine, has been appointed the first Olive K. Britt-Paul E. Hoffman Professor of Large Animal Studies.
The department's faculty also provides service in large animal medicine and surgery to clients of the Teaching Hospital and consultation to practicing veterinarians.
