Research Interests
Since joining the Tripp lab team in January 2006, I have examined RSV, HMPV, PRRS, and influenza virus in a variety of cell line models including Vero, E6, MA104, NHBE, A549, LLCMK2, and MDCK. I also routinely produce large amounts of recombinant proteins and antibodies using hybridoma fusion cells.
An important role I have is to instruct new students to the lab in the art and science of cell culture and general laboratory techniques.
