Awards and Accomplishments
- Lisa Moore took first place at the 2008 UGA Department of Infectious Diseases Annual Retreat with her poster: Respiratory Syncytial Virus Attachment G and Nonstructural Proteins Modulate the Early Anti-Viral Host Response to Infection. Congratulations Lisa!
- Tiffany Turner has been awarded a GRO Assistantship from the UGA Graduate School Center of Outreach and Diversity. Way to go Tiffany!
- Congratulations to Christine Oshansky for receiving the 2008 Dissertation Completion Award from the UGA Graduate School.
- Christine Oshansky won an award for the "Best Trainee" at the 6th International Respiratory Syncytial Virus Symposium held October 25-28th, 2007, at Marco Island, Florida. She was the winner among 46 PhD trainee presentors.
