These fees will be charged to investigators in addition to Animal Resources per diem fees. The room rates are subject to annual revision each fiscal year (July 1-June 30).
Costs covered by AHRC room charges include:
- Scrubs and towels
- Use of necropsy room and equipment, necropsy room technician
- Carcass and waste disposal
- Capital costs of major equipment e.g., vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VHP) generators
- Annual performance verification of facility operating systems and equipment
- Laboratory equipment in the BSL-3 enhanced laboratories (120 suite)
